Ronda Rousey will have to wait a bit longer for a challenger for her women's bantamweight title, as UFC president Dana White refuted potential matches with Gina Carano, Christiane "Cyborg" Justino and Holly Holms on Wednesday.

I just spoke to Dana about this. He told me, boldly, ‘We are not in negotiations with Gina Carano.’ He also told me they’re not talking to Cyborg. And then the big news over the weekend was he was going to have a meeting with Holly Holm’s manager… I asked him how that meeting went and he said, 'Not good at all, we’re not interested anymore.' He didn't like her manager very much. One of those old boxing type of managers. They did not get on the same page there, and he says, right now, there doesn't appear to be any shot of Holly Holm fighting in the UFC anytime soon.
Holm, a world champion boxer in three weight classes with a record of 33-2-3, is undefeated in her mixed martial arts career (6-0). While her manager, Lenny Fresquez, considered a Rousey-Holm bout to be "a superfight," it appears the asking price was too high — at least for now.
