A mixed martial arts bout between Mike Perry and Dillon Danis will take place Aug. 29 at Kia Center in Orlando.
The welterweight fight is being promoted under a new organization called Duel Arena. A promotion official confirmed the matchup to MMA Fighting's Mike Heck.
Duel Arena 1 will be a "hybrid card featuring MMA, boxing, and kickboxing," promoter Dean Toole told Heck. All of the bouts scheduled for the card will take place in a ring instead of a cage.

Perry will be competing in his second MMA fight this year after earning a TKO win over Nate Diaz at the Ronda Rousey-Gina Carano event on Netflix in May. The 34-year-old UFC veteran has bounced between different combat sports in recent years, including several bare-knuckle fights under the BKFC banner and a boxing match against Jake Paul in 2024.
Danis most recently fought in MMA last August, picking up a 15-second submission win over Warren Spencer at a Misfits event. The 32-year-old is 3-0 as a professional MMA fighter. This year, Danis has competed twice in wrestling under the Real American Freestyle (RAF) banner, losing to Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev.
