Mike Perry picked up a TKO win against former UFC star Nate Diaz in the MVP MMA 1 co-main event Saturday night at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Referee Mike Beltran stopped the fight after the second round on the advice of Diaz's corner.

Perry pummeled Diaz with heavy punches throughout the round and dropped him with a knee in the final seconds. Diaz was slow to get up, and blood covered his face when he went back to his corner.

Perry stepped into the MMA cage for the first time since April 2021, when he lost to Daniel Rodriguez in his final UFC bout.

Over the last five years, Perry has emerged as the face of BKFC, winning six straight fights in the bare-knuckle promotion. He was coming off a fifth-round TKO of Jeremy Stephens last October and has also beaten the likes of Eddie Alvarez and Luke Rockhold.

The win over Diaz lifted Perry's professional MMA record to 15-8.

Diaz, meanwhile, returned to MMA after four years away from the sport. He parted ways with the UFC after a submission win over Tony Ferguson in September 2022 and went on to compete in two boxing matches. He lost to Jake Paul in August 2023 and beat Jorge Masvidal in July 2024.

Diaz, one of the most popular fighters in UFC history, made his pro MMA debut in 2004. His record fell to 21-14 with the loss to Perry.
