Khamzat Chimaev wants to fight Alex Pereira at the UFC's event at the White House.

The middleweight champion called out the light heavyweight titleholder Monday in a post on X.

The UFC is planning a monumental event on the White House grounds later this year, though a firm date hasn't been announced. CEO Dana White has said the promotion will begin booking fights for the card in February.

Chimaev has yet to defend the 185-pound championship since his title win over Dricus Du Plessis in August. However, this isn't the first time the 31-year-old Chechen has talked about moving to 205 pounds. In December, he said he wanted to defend his belt once and then change weight classes.

Chimaev also said last month he didn't think Pereira was interested in facing him in the Octagon.

"I don't think he wants that fight," Chimaev said. "Everyone knows this guy is not on my level. ... That's why he's running away."

Ranked No. 3 pound-for-pound in the UFC, Chimaev has been one of the most dominant fighters in the sport since his 2020 Octagon debut. He holds a 15-0 professional record.
