Green-Ferreira, 1 other fight off UFC 319
UFC 319 has lost two fights a little over two days before the pay-per-view event.
The lightweight bout between King Green and Diego Ferreira, as well as "The Ultimate Fighter 33" welterweight final between Rodrigo Sezinando and Daniil Donchenko, have been scratched from Saturday's card in Chicago, the promotion announced Thursday.
Green withdrew from his fight against Ferreira due to an undisclosed injury, a source told MMA Fighting's Mike Heck. Sezinando also pulled out with an injury, his team told MMA reporter Evan Koogler.
Both matchups will be rescheduled.
Green, a 51-fight veteran, was looking to bounce back from a two-fight skid that included stoppage losses to Mauricio Ruffy and Paddy Pimblett. Ferreira was last in action at UFC 311 in January, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Grant Dawson.
Sezinando, who fights out of Rio de Janeiro, beat Diego Bianchini and Jeff Creighton to book a spot in the "TUF 33" finale. Meanwhile, Donchenko, a 24-year-old from Ukraine, topped Richard Martins and Matt Dixon on the show.
UFC 319 will proceed with 13 fights. In the main event, middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis will defend his title against the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev.
