KSI, Danis set for March 29 boxing match
KSI and former MMA fighter Dillon Danis will square off in a boxing match March 29 at AO Arena in Manchester, England, Misfits Boxing announced Tuesday.
The fight will stream live on DAZN pay-per-view. It will be contested at 185 pounds, according to Uncrowned's Ariel Helwani.
The matchup between KSI and Danis was initially scheduled to take place in January 2023, but Danis withdrew less than two weeks before the event. KSI's manager, Mams Taylor, said at the time that Danis pulled out because he was "underprepared."
KSI, a YouTube star turned boxer, is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Tommy Fury in October 2023 in Manchester. The 31-year-old London native holds a 4-1 (1 NC) professional record.
Danis co-headlined the KSI-Fury card, losing to Logan Paul via disqualification. That fight marked his boxing debut and his first combat sports appearance since 2019. Danis, who rose to fame as UFC star Conor McGregor's training partner, is 2-0 in pro MMA. He won two fights under the Bellator banner between 2018 and 2019 then retired from the sport in 2023.
