Cormier, Sonnen to coach 'TUF 33'
Former UFC stars Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen will serve as the coaches on "The Ultimate Fighter 33" later this year, the promotion announced Saturday.
The season will premiere May 27. Weight classes are yet to be announced.

Cormier is a former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion. He retired from mixed martial arts in 2020 and was inducted into the promotion's Hall of Fame in 2022. He now works as a color commentator for the UFC.
Sonnen is a former UFC middleweight title challenger and was one of his era's most popular fighters. His final Octagon appearance came in 2013, and the final fight of his career took place under the Bellator banner in 2019. Sonnen serves as an analyst for ESPN, appearing on some UFC and PFL broadcasts.
Cormier and Sonnen currently host a podcast on ESPN together called "Good Guy / Bad Guy."
The two have been coaches on "TUF" before: Cormier starred on "TUF 27" opposite Stipe Miocic in 2018 and Sonnen was on "TUF: Brazil 3" opposite Wanderlei Silva in 2014.
