Vera-Figueiredo booked for UFC Abu Dhabi

A fight between Marlon "Chito" Vera and Deiveson Figueiredo has been added to UFC Abu Dhabi on Aug. 3, the promotion announced.
Vera is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Sean O'Malley in a fight for the bantamweight belt at UFC 299. The 31-year-old's previous bout was a unanimous decision win over Pedro Munhoz at UFC 292.
Figueiredo, meanwhile, rides a two-fight win streak into the matchup. The 36-year-old submitted Cody Garbrandt at UFC 300 and took a unanimous decision over Rob Font in December 2023.
The show's main event will be a bout between Cory Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov.
