Topuria debuts at No. 5 on P4P list as Volkanovski tumbles
Newly crowned UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria made his debut in the promotion's pound-for-pound rankings Tuesday, coming in at fifth.
Topuria knocked out longtime champ Alexander Volkanovski in the second round of the UFC 298 main event this past weekend in Anaheim to capture the 145-pound title. Volkanovski, who was the pound-for-pound king not long ago and entered his sixth title defense against Topuria ranked No. 3, fell to the No. 7 spot, just underneath Charles Oliveira.
