The newly launched Bellator International Champions Series has its first main event.

Corey Anderson and Karl Moore will fight for the vacant Bellator light heavyweight title on March 22 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, sources told MMA reporter Ariel Helwani.

Vadim Nemkov relinquished the 205-pound belt earlier in January to move up to heavyweight. Nemkov is scheduled to face Bruno Cappelozza at the PFL vs. Bellator: Champions event on Feb. 24.

The Bellator International Champions Series is the PFL's newest franchise after the company acquired Bellator late last year. The series will consist of eight events in 2024, predominantly in international markets but also in the U.S., and will feature Bellator champions defending their titles.

No other fights have been announced for the first event.

Anderson, a former UFC contender and the Bellator Light Heavyweight Grand Prix runner-up, is coming off a split-decision win over former champion Phil Davis last June. Anderson lost to Nemkov in a bid for the title in November 2022. He signed with the original Bellator in 2020 and produced a 5-1 (1 NC) record.

Moore went 4-0 under the Bellator banner dating back to 2019. He was born in Belfast and fights out of SBG Ireland in Dublin.
