Demetrious Johnson: I'm 2nd-greatest MMA fighter ever

Former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson ranked himself No. 2 on his personal MMA GOAT list.

Johnson, who competes in ONE Championship and holds that promotion's 135-pound title, said he deserves to be ahead of everyone but current UFC heavyweight champ Jon Jones.

Johnson ranked Georges St-Pierre No. 3 and Anderson Silva No. 4.

"Nobody has been able to do what I've been able to do in the flyweight division or in any division," Johnson said in a video published Tuesday on his YouTube channel. "Eleven consecutive title defenses. Created a brand-new move that none of you guys have ever seen, the Mighty Wiz-bar. ... I have wins by knockout, submission, gone to decision, gone to a split draw, whatever you want to call it."

Johnson holds numerous UFC records and is widely considered one of the greatest of all time. He has the most consecutive title defenses and is tied with Jones for most title defenses overall (11). Johnson captured the inaugural UFC flyweight belt in 2012 and held it until 2018.

One thing missing from the 37-year-old's illustrious resume is UFC two-division champion status, which Jones - the former longtime UFC light heavyweight champion - achieved earlier this year by winning the heavyweight strap.

"(Jones) is the only man that I'll put ahead of me because this man, I feel like, any single time he has been inside the cage, he could just destroy his opponent however he wanted," Johnson said. "He also has wins by knockout, putting people to sleep, decisions, everything on the list."

Johnson is also still an active fighter. Most recently, "Mighty Mouse" defended the ONE Championship belt with a unanimous decision win over Adriano Moraes in May. Johnson told theScore prior to that fight it could be his final walk to the cage before retirement.
