Benoit Saint-Denis is a bad man.

The rising Frenchman put the rest of the lightweight division on notice Saturday night, knocking out Matt Frevola with a vicious head kick 1:31 into the first round of their UFC 295 main-card bout in New York.

After the highlight-reel finish, Saint-Denis expressed interest in challenging for the mythical BMF title.

The 27-year-old improved his winning streak to five and now holds a 5-1 record in the UFC. He'll likely debut in the 155-pound rankings next week after taking out No. 14 Frevola. Saint-Denis has four finishes in the promotion - three knockouts and one submission. He's 13-1 as a pro, and his only defeat came in his UFC debut in 2021.
