The boxing match between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis ended in chaos.

Paul, the YouTuber turned combat sports star, was seconds away from a dominant unanimous decision win over Danis, the popular MMA fighter and Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, in their six-round exhibition bout Saturday in Manchester, England. But it will go in the books as a disqualification victory instead.

Danis was disqualified in the final moments of the fight after trying to put Paul in a guillotine choke. Paul was up 5-0 on all three judges' scorecards heading into the sixth round. Earlier in the round, Danis attempted a takedown but Paul defended it.

A brawl broke out in the ring - with security rushing in - after Danis went for the illegal move.

"I'm sorry it ended that way," Paul said. "Dillon Danis truly is a coward, just a dirty, dirty human being."

The fight between Paul and Danis served as the co-main event to Tommy Fury versus KSI. The event was promoted by KSI's Misfits Boxing organization and streamed on DAZN pay-per-view.

Paul made easy work of Danis in all six rounds, picking him apart with punches to the head and body. Danis, making his boxing debut, offered very little offense.

"(Danis) called himself a real fighter," Paul said. "What are we talking about?"

Paul took aim at Danis' teammate UFC star Conor McGregor. The social media star said he intends to return to WWE next but is willing to come back to boxing for a matchup against McGregor in 2024. Paul is one of the most promising up-and-comers in pro wrestling.

"Hey, Conor McGregor. You see that?" Paul said. "I took your b---h, put him on a leash, and took him for a walk. Who's the real fighter now?"

Paul stepped into the ring for the first time since going the distance with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in a June 2021 exhibition. This was Paul's first boxing victory, though his pro record still officially stands at 0-1. Paul's only pro bout was a 2019 split-decision loss to KSI.

Danis, famous for his internet trolling and for being one of McGregor's training partners at SBG Ireland, hadn't competed in combat sports since 2019. He holds a 2-0 record in MMA.
