An Irish woman said UFC superstar Conor McGregor attacked her on his yacht in Ibiza last July, according to Spanish newspaper Ultima Hora.

The woman said McGregor punched her on the boat and threatened to drown her.

The fighter denied the allegations through a spokesperson.

"Mr. McGregor is steadfast in his denial of all the accusations made by a guest on his boat," Karen Kessler said in a statement to ESPN's Marc Raimondi on Tuesday.

The investigating court in Ibiza, an island off the mainland of Spain, will look into the matter, Ultima Hora reports.

Immediately after the alleged incident, the woman told police a different man - not McGregor - attacked her, according to Raimondi, citing reports by Spanish media at the time. Now that the woman has identified McGregor as the alleged attacker, an investigation will take place, per the Ultima Hora report.

The woman said McGregor invited her onto his yacht while they were both at a nightclub in Ibiza on July 16 after recognizing her from his neighborhood in Dublin. She said that the next morning on the yacht, McGregor became suddenly aggressive and punched her in the stomach and chin, lunged at her, and threatened to drown her. The woman jumped into the water and a Red Cross boat rescued her, according to Ultima Hora.

A judge in Ibiza will take statements from the woman and witnesses. Then the judge will decide whether or not McGregor will be cited for a felony, Ultima Hora reports.
