Donald Cerrone withdrew from his lightweight bout against Joe Lauzon at UFC 274 on Saturday due to an illness unrelated to COVID-19, the promotion announced.

"Cowboy" came down with food poisoning Saturday morning, his team told MMA reporter Ariel Helwani.

Cerrone-Lauzon was scheduled to kick off the main card in Phoenix. As a result of the cancellation, the welterweight tilt between Randy Brown and Khaos Williams has been moved up to the pay-per-view portion of the event.

Cerrone was looking to snap a six-fight winless streak, while Lauzon was set to compete for the first time since 2019.

UFC 274, headlined by Charles Oliveira versus Justin Gaethje, will proceed with 14 contests.
