Heavyweights Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov will fight in the main event of UFC London on March 19, UFC president Dana White told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

The UFC hasn't staged an event in the U.K. since March 2019.

Aspinall, 28, is 4-0 since joining the UFC in 2020 after a stint with Cage Warriors. The English fighter most recently earned a first-round TKO against Sergey Spivak, his third first-round finish in the Octagon.

Volkov, 33, won a unanimous decision victory over Marcin Tybura in October, bouncing back from a loss to now-interim champion Ciryl Gane earlier in the year.

The UFC will likely look to stack the London event with homegrown talent.

Paddy Pimblett, one of England's hottest young talents and a former Cage Warriors champion, announced Thursday he will be on the card against a yet-to-be-named opponent.

Pimblett, 27, produced a stunning first-round knockout of Luigi Vendramini in his UFC debut in September.
