Kevin Holland and Kyle Daukaus will run it back at the UFC Fight Night card on Nov. 13 after their bout last weekend was ruled a no-contest, sources told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
Contracts have reportedly not yet been signed, but the two middleweights verbally agreed to the rematch.
Daukaus tapped out Holland with a rear-naked choke in the first round of Saturday's co-main event after a clash of heads badly hurt the latter. After the fight ended, referee Dan Miragliotta consulted with Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) officials and, upon viewing the replay, declared the fight a no-contest, presumably because the clash of heads influenced the outcome.
Afterward, Holland and Daukaus both expressed interest in booking an immediate rematch.
Holland, who became one of the breakthrough stars of 2020 by scoring five straight wins, will look to return to the win column in the rematch. "Trailblazer" suffered losses to Marvin Vettori and Derek Brunson earlier in 2021.
Daukaus, a "Dana White's Contender Series" alum, held a 1-2 record in the UFC before the no-contest.
A featherweight tilt between former champion Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez is scheduled to headline the Nov. 13 event in Las Vegas.
