McGregor opens as slight favorite for 3rd fight vs. Poirier
Dustin Poirier is an underdog for the third consecutive time against Conor McGregor.
On Wednesday, McGregor opened as a -115 favorite for their trilogy bout despite losing to Poirier earlier in 2021. Poirier opened at +105.
The matchup is scheduled to headline UFC 264 on July 10 in Las Vegas.
Poirier earned a second-round TKO win over McGregor at UFC 257 in January, tying his series with the former two-division champion at 1-1. "The Diamond" was nearly a 3-1 underdog for that contest.
McGregor holds a 2014 knockout win over Poirier when they competed in the featherweight division. The Irishman was also a heavy favorite for that bout.
Poirier is riding a two-fight winning streak and has only lost once since 2016, while McGregor is 1-2 in his last three outings.
