A pair of ranked UFC women's bantamweights will do battle when Holly Holm meets Julianna Pena at UFC Fight Night on May 8, promotion officials confirmed to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
Holm, ranked No. 2 in the division, owns a 14-5 record and has won her last two fights by unanimous decision since losing to Amanda Nunes in a title fight at UFC 239 in July 2019.
Pena is 10-4 in her career and is ranked fifth in the division. She rebounded from a loss to top contender Germaine de Randamie by defeating Sara McMann by submission in January.
A location for the May event has yet to be determined.
