Conor McGregor expects a quick night at UFC 257 when he faces Dustin Poirier, predicting he'll score a knockout victory less than one minute into the rematch.

"I love Dustin," McGregor said in a UFC promo ahead of the Jan. 23 lightweight bout. "I think he's a good fighter. He's even a great fighter. But great is still levels below me."

"I'll knock Dustin out inside 60 seconds," he added.

Poirier and McGregor met for the first time in 2014 as featherweights, with the latter recording a first-round finish.

The Irishman hasn't stepped into the cage since a 40-second win over Donald Cerrone last January.

Poirier, meanwhile, beat Dan Hooker in a "Fight of the Year" candidate in June 2020.
