Marvin Vettori has stepped in for Holland against Hermansson in a five-round matchup, the promotion announced Saturday.
Vettori was set to take on Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza at UFC 256 on Dec. 12.
It's the second straight lost main event for the UFC due to the coronavirus pandemic, and Hermansson's second change of opponent following Darren Till's withdrawal earlier in November.
Meanwhile, Curtis Blaydes dropped out of Saturday's heavyweight clash with Derrick Lewis after testing positive. The bout will reportedly be rescheduled for December or January. Anthony Smith and Devin Clark will move atop the card.
Holland has produced a career year in 2020, winning all four of his fights to put himself on the cusp of joining the top middleweight contenders.
Meanwhile, Hermansson is looking to earn his second win of the year after beating Kelvin Gastelum via first-round submission in July. "The Joker" has won five of his last six fights, with the only loss coming to Jared Cannonier in September 2019.
