UFC 255 will feature a pair of flyweight title bouts.

Deiveson Figueiredo will defend his belt against former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt on Nov. 21, UFC president Dana White told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Additionally, champion Valentina Shevchenko will meet Jennifer Maia.

Figueiredo submitted Joseph Benavidez in the main event of UFC Fight Night on July 18 to capture the vacant title. The Brazilian previously met Benavidez in February in what was supposed to be a vacant title bout, but he missed weight. Figueiredo won that contest via second-round knockout and has won four straight fights overall.

Garbrandt snapped a three-fight skid with a devastating knockout win over Raphael Assuncao at UFC 250 in June. Before that, the former champ lost to TJ Dillashaw twice and Pedro Munhoz. This will be Garbrandt's first professional fight at 125 pounds.

Shevchenko has defended her women's flyweight belt three times since winning it in December 2018. Most recently, "Bullet" finished Katlyn Chookagian at UFC 247 in February. She was expected to face Joanne Calderwood in June but withdrew from the bout due to an injury.

Maia is coming off a submission win over Calderwood at UFC Fight Night last weekend. After the victory, White said Maia would receive the next title shot against Shevchenko. The Brazilian is 3-1 in her past four fights. She made weight versus Calderwood after missing the mark ahead of her last two bouts.

A location for the card has not yet been announced.
