UFC flyweight Deiveson Figueiredo has tested positive for COVID-19, his manager, Wallid Ismail, told ESPN's Ariel Helwani.
Ismail said Figueiredo had the virus two months ago and tested positive again Friday.
The Brazilian is scheduled to headline next Saturday's card in a bout against Joseph Benavidez for the vacant flyweight belt.
He'll be tested again Saturday in the hopes that his test was a false positive, Helwani reports.
Figueiredo, 18-1, is currently the No. 1-ranked flyweight after Henry Cejudo dropped the flyweight and bantamweight titles to retire. Benavidez, 28-6, is ranked No. 2 in the division.
