Top lightweight contenders Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker successfully tipped the scales Friday ahead of their main-event bout Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Poirier weighed in at 156 pounds, while Hooker came in at 155.5 pounds. The 18 other fighters on the card also made weight, including co-headliners Mike Perry and Mickey Gall.

Poirier, the former interim lightweight champion, is looking to push himself back into title contention after a failed bid against champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in September.

Prior to that loss, Poirier was riding a four-fight winning streak that included victories over current interim titleholder Justin Gaethje and ex-champions Max Holloway (for the interim 155-pound strap) and Anthony Pettis.

Meanwhile, Hooker rose to No. 5 in the lightweight rankings after beating Paul Felder via split decision in February. The City Kickboxing product racked up wins over James Vick and Al Iaquinta before Felder.
