No. 6-ranked middleweight Jack Hermansson and No. 7-ranked Kelvin Gastelum have agreed to a July 18 bout on Fight Island, reports ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
Hermansson (20-5) hasn't fought since losing by TKO to Jared Cannonier in September. He had been riding a four-fight win streak, including a unanimous decision victory over Ronaldo Souza.
Gastelum (15-5) is coming off consecutive losses to top middleweights Israel Adesanya and Darren Till. He last fought in November, when he dropped a split decision to Till.
The UFC has yet to divulge the location of Fight Island. President Dana White has hyped the new fight venue as the coronavirus pandemic has limited the available areas to host a mixed martial arts card.
