Gabriel Benitez walked away from his loss at UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira on Wednesday night with a nasty injury.

"Moggly" fell short to Omar Morales via unanimous decision in a lightweight bout in Jacksonville. Benitez's leg started to bleed midway through the fight, but the severity of the ailment did not become clear until a video was shown on the broadcast after the bout.

Benitez, 31, suffered his second straight loss Wednesday. Morales is now 2-0 in the UFC.
