Bellator MMA announced Monday the postponement of three live events that were scheduled to take place in May.

Bellator 242 in San Jose on May 9, Bellator European Series London on May 16, and Bellator 243 in Temecula, California, on May 29 have all been postponed due to safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak and government mandates on social gatherings.

The promotion hopes to reschedule the events and will provide refunds to ticketholders.

Bellator 242 was to feature Ryan Bader's defense of his light heavyweight title against Vadim Nemkov and a middleweight title fight between champion Douglas Lima and Gegard Mousasi. The London card was headlined by a bantamweight bout between James Gallagher and Cal Ellenor, while Liz Carmouche's return to action against Mandy Bohm was booked for Bellator 243.
