Namajunas-Andrade rematch booked for UFC 249

A rematch between former strawweight champions Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade has been scheduled for UFC 249 on April 18 in Brooklyn.

Namajunas hasn't fought since dropping the belt to Andrade at UFC 237 in May 2019. She was knocked out in that fight when Andrade slammed her to the canvas headfirst.
Andrade lost the title to Zhang Weili in her first defense in August and hasn't appeared in the Octagon since.
UFC 249 will be headlined by lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and challenger Tony Ferguson. A middleweight bout between Uriah Hall and Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza is also on the card.
