Francis Ngannou has his next opponent in mind.

The UFC heavyweight contender would like to fight Alexander Volkov, he wrote Saturday on Twitter.

"What's your schedule for January 18th looks like?!" Ngannou wrote in a tweet directed at Volkov. "Let me offer you a free trip in the most entertaining city in the world (Las Vegas)."

Volkov responded, asking Ngannou if he would be interested in a March fight instead. The Russian referenced a potential card in Paris that UFC president Dana White has confirmed the promotion is looking into, though the event has yet to be finalized. Ngannou started his MMA career in France.

"Or you are too afraid to fall in front of your audience?" Volkov wrote.

Ngannou said he would be willing to wait until March, or fight Volkov much sooner than even his original plan of January.

"Paris in March or tomorrow in a phone booth, I will fight you anywhere," Ngannou wrote. "Just sign the damn contract this time. Call @danawhite ASAP."

Ngannou is coming off three straight first-round knockout wins over former champions Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez, as well as top contender Curtis Blaydes.

Volkov last defeated controversial former NFL player Greg Hardy by unanimous decision at UFC Moscow on Nov. 9. The former Bellator heavyweight champion has won two of his last three outings.
