Video has been released of the reported confrontation between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens in a Mexican hotel following their no-contest fight.

The main event bout at UFC Mexico City on Saturday lasted just 15 seconds as the fight was stopped when Stephens could not continue after being poked in the eye by Rodriguez.

Rodriguez can be seen approaching Stephens in the video, with the latter shoving the former following an argument.

The two fighters then began to unleash a series of profanity-laced taunts at the other, also using homophobic slurs during the incident.

"You're a f------ p----, bro. You're gonna have to live with that for the rest of your f------ life, p---- ... It's not me, I'm fine motherf-----," Rodriguez said.

"Let's run it back," Stephens said.

"Run it back? How about yesterday, you f------ p----," Rodriguez responded.

"You poked me in the eye, f----t. You poked me in the f------ eye," Stephens said to Rodriguez, who can then be heard repeating the slur back to him.

Rodriguez said Monday that he approached Stephens to check if his eye was fine.

Meanwhile, Stephens said he assumed his opponent "was trying to be a gentleman" before he started "talking shit" to him.
