UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has found his next opponent.

Top contender Alexander Volkanovski will square off with Holloway for the featherweight belt at UFC 245 on Dec. 14, reports Nick Walshaw of The Daily Telegraph.

Volkanovski appeared to confirm the report in a tweet on Saturday night.

Volkanovski, 20-1, has won all seven of his fights in the UFC, including a unanimous-decision victory over former featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo at UFC 237 in May.

The Aussie was hospitalized with a blood infection following that fight and later revealed he was at risk of losing his leg to the ailment.

Holloway, 21-4, has suffered just one loss since 2014, which came when he moved up in weight to challenge Dustin Poirier for the interim lightweight title in April.

"Blessed" captured the featherweight belt in June 2017 and has successfully defended it on three occasions, as he bested Aldo for a second time and followed that up with wins over Brian Ortega and, most recently, Frankie Edgar.

The December card also features Amanda Nunes' women's bantamweight title defense against Germaine de Randamie.
