Jones vows to 'embarrass' Lesnar if ex-champ unretires

LAS VEGAS, NV - JULY 07: Mixed martial artist Brock Lesnar smiles as he takes questions from members of the media during an open workout for UFC 200 at T-Mobile Arena on July 7, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lesnar will face Mark Hunt on July 9 in Las Vegas in a heavyweight bout that will serve as UFC 200's main event after Jon Jones was pulled from his light heavyweight title fight against Daniel Cormier due to a potential violation of the UFC's anti-doping policy.

Jon Jones threatened to "embarrass" Brock Lesnar if the former UFC heavyweight champion steps out of retirement for a superfight with him.

After toying with a comeback, Lesnar informed the UFC several months ago his gloves have been hung up for good. However, WWE's Kurt Angle said Monday his longtime pal would consider returning to the cage to duel Jones if the light heavyweight titleholder moves up a weight class.

Lesnar last appeared in the Octagon in July 2016 at UFC 200. His victory over Mark Hunt was later overturned to a no-contest after a failed drug test.

The 42-year-old has signed multiple short-term contracts with WWE since going back to professional wrestling in 2012.

As for Jones, he's received calls to join the heavyweight pool after cleaning up his current division.
