The UFC is finalizing a heavyweight bout between Greg Hardy and Juan Adams for UFC San Antonio on July 20, sources told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
Contracts for the bout have yet to be signed, but both fighters have agreed to the fight, added Okamoto.
Adams has been widely critical of the UFC's decision to sign Hardy and has questioned the legitimacy of the former NFL player's competition so far. He's also used the hashtag '#f---GregHardy' and has referenced his opponents' history of domestic violence.
Hardy lost his UFC debut after being disqualified for an illegal knee but bounced back with a knockout win over Dmitry Smoliakov in April.
Adams boasts a 5-1 MMA record and most recently suffered his first career loss via decision to Arjan Bhullar.
