UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich was hospitalized after being attacked in Hawaii and suffering a broken orbital bone, her manager, Brian Butler-Au, confirmed to ESPN on Monday. The Honolulu native has since been released from hospital.
TMZ Sports first reported the incident, and multiple sources said the attacker was someone close to Ostovich.
Honolulu police told TMZ that they've opened a felony domestic violence investigation.
Ostovich, 1-1 in the UFC so far, was scheduled to take on Paige VanZant on Jan. 19.
