Mirko Cro Cop has been forced to withdraw from Friday's Bellator 200 headlining fight against Roy Nelson, the promotion confirmed to Gareth A. Davies of The Telegraph.

While Bellator did not specify the type of ailment, Davies reported that it's believed to be a leg injury.

The Cro Cop-Nelson matchup was supposed to serve as the alternate bout for the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix, and a new opponent for Nelson is now being sought.

Rafael Carvalho against Gegard Mousasi has been bumped up to the main event of the card, while Michael "Venom" Page against David Rickels has been elevated to the co-main event.
