Another pair of light heavyweight fixtures will grace the UFC's next bill in Germany.
Former title challenger Glover Teixeira is set to tangle with Ilir Latifi at UFC Fight Night 134 on July 22 at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, sources told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani on Tuesday. Sweden's Kimura first reported the matchup, with Ag. Fight recently adding the date and location.
The 38-year-old Teixeira has alternated wins and losses over his past four, most recently rebounding from a KO loss to Alexander Gustafsson with a prompt TKO of Misha Cirkunov at UFC on FOX 26 in December. He meets Latifi - a longtime teammate of Gustafsson's - with a promotional record of 10-4.
Latifi heads to Germany on a two-fight win streak, having taken a unanimous verdict over Tyson Pedro at UFC 215 in September before choking Ovince Saint Preux unconscious in under a round at UFC on FOX 28 in February - a stoppage that improved his Octagon slate to 7-3.
In the light heavyweight main event originally expected to co-headline May's UFC Fight Night 129, Volkan Oezdemir will face ex-champ Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
