Mayweather first posted a photoshopped image on social media early Sunday morning, in which he bloodies McGregor with a vicious elbow as both fighters wear Mayweather-branded "The Money Team" MMA gloves.
His caption features the type of trash talk that helped build the popularity of their August 2017 boxing match.

McGregor responded with a picture of himself landing an elbow to the head of Nate Diaz in his victory at UFC 202 in August 2016, a five-round majority decision.
