Ricardo Ramos set the highest of bars for Saturday's star-studded UFC 217 at Madison Square Garden, where he kicked off the bill with a spinning back elbow from hell that left Aiemann Zahabi limp on the canvas 1:58 into Round 3 of their bantamweight bout.
The 22-year-old Brazilian joined welterweight Dong Hyun Kim as the only fighters to have gotten their hand raised in the Octagon with the technique. Ramos improved to 2-0 in the UFC and extended his win streak to three, while Zahabi suffered defeat for the first time as a pro.
