Man poses as security, gets ringside seat for Mayweather-McGregor
A British bartender snagged one of the best seats in the house for Saturday's historic fight by pretending to be part of Floyd Mayweather's security team.
Oliver Regis, who has a giant tattoo of Conor McGregor on his right leg, had already purchased a ticket for the bout, but after discovering it was at the top of T-Mobile Arena, decided to upgrade, according to James Beal of The Sun.
Regis said he posed as a member of Mayweather's team and shadowed them past security, who failed to scan his ticket. He then stationed himself in the third row, where he proceeded to snap selfies with several celebrities, including P. Diddy, Demi Lovato, Jamie Foxx, Dana White, and Mike Tyson.
"I did feel a bit cheeky - but this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance," Regis told The Sun. "I could not believe it worked."
