The UFC Athlete Retreat in Las Vegas this weekend was supposed to be a friendly get together for fighters to meet with the promotion's new owners, but not all the fighters could play friendly.

Enraged by a not-so-nice tweet from Angela Magana, Cris Cyborg got physical with her fellow fighter, punching her in the face after some heated words:

Both combatants confirmed the incident on Twitter, with Cyborg tweeting a link to a story about the event, while Magana subtweeted about the shot she took.

UFC fighter Rawlings claimed to have video of the incident, but hasn't shared it as she's looking to sell it instead of uploading for free.

Cyborg was upset by a tweet that mocked her looks while she visited cancer patients in Brazil, sources told Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting. Cyborg's father is battling cancer, and the fighter went to the hospital to visit children suffering from the disease.

Fellow UFC fighter Chris Weidman apparently tried to break up the fight, but was scared away by Cyborg.

There's little hope Cyborg and Magana will get to resolve their differences in the Octagon as Cyborg is a featherweight and Magana is a strawweight.

The UFC's retreat ends Sunday night.
