An injury has forced Warlley Alves out of his welterweight bout with Kiichi Kunimoto at UFC Fight Night 110, and Zak Ottow has been pegged as his replacement.
The UFC announced the change on Thursday.
Ottow has gone 1-1 since joining the UFC last October, topping Josh Burkman by split decision in his debut before dropping a split call to Sergio Moraes in his next fight. "The Barbarian" is 14-2 in his professional career.
A veteran of the Japanese MMA scene, Kunimoto has been absent from the Octagon since February 2015. In his last outing, he suffered his first UFC loss when he was submitted by Neil Magny. Prior to that, "Strasser" picked up three UFC victories, part of a seven-fight win streak.
UFC Fight Night 110 takes place in Auckland, New Zealand on June 11. Derrick Lewis is set to face Mark Hunt in the evening's heavyweight main event.
