Whatever is next for Conor McGregor, he's already getting prepared for it.
The UFC lightweight champion posted a black and white photo of himself in training mode accompanied by a cryptic caption reading "Day 1."
Day 1 of training camp for a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather? A defense of his lightweight title? A superfight with welterweight legend Georges St-Pierre?
It's also entirely possible that this is just the first time McGregor has really been able to get back to training since recently becoming a father.
Regardless, it can only be good news for fight fans if "The Notorious" is making any sort of progress toward competing again, whether it's in a ring or the Octagon.
