Marcin Held is hoping that his third time in the Octagon is the charm.
On Saturday, the UFC announced that Held will fight Damir Hadzovic in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 109 in Stockholm, Sweden on May 28.
A native of Poland, Held joined the UFC last November after a five-year run with Bellator MMA that saw him go 11-3 in that promotion. That success hasn't carried over to his new stomping grounds yet, as he's lost back-to-back decisions to veterans Diego Sanchez and Joe Lauzon.
Hadzovic also joined the UFC in 2016, losing in his debut to Mairbek Taisumov via first-round KO. "The Bosnian Bomber" holds a 10-3 professional record overall.
UFC Fight Night 109 is scheduled to be headlined by a bout between light heavyweight contenders Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira.
