Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko clearly want to meet again, they just can't agree on a date.
In a brief Twitter exchange on Monday, Nunes offered to defend her women's bantamweight title against Shevchenko on June 3 at UFC 212 in Rio de Janeiro, but her call-out wasn't warmly received. Shevchenko accused the champ of turning down an April date before countering with an offer to meet in July, when she claimed to have been told Nunes would be ready to defend the strap.
I see you June 3? @BulletValentina

Should Nunes' wish be granted, the rematch would likely play second fiddle to a featherweight-title unification bout between undisputed champ Jose Aldo and interim titleholder Max Holloway, which is set to headline the Brazil show.
"The Lioness" took a unanimous decision over Shevchenko at UFC 196 before disposing of Miesha Tate in under a round to win the title at UFC 200. Nunes has since defended the title with a 48-second blitz of Ronda Rousey, while "Bullet" has picked up consecutive wins over former champ Holly Holm and Julianna Pena by unanimous decision and second-round tapout, respectively.
