Report: T-Mobile Arena reserves June 10 for Mayweather-McGregor
Proponents of a crossover bout between boxing star Floyd Mayweather and UFC champion Conor McGregor will be happy to hear about the latest development.
The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas has reportedly reserved June 10 for the potential fight, sources told FloCombat's Duane Finley on Sunday.
It is common practice for arenas to hold dates in anticipation of major potential events regardless of whether they end up occurring, so this doesn't indicate that either fighter has come to an agreement.
The reported date falls in line with Mayweather's recent comments that he is officially out of retirement and looking to face McGregor in June. McGregor is currently on hiatus from competition and expected to return after his fiancee gives birth to their first child in May.
