Perry upsets Lim via 1st-round TKO in UFC debut
Mike Perry redeemed his cartoonish antics at Friday's weigh-in with an impressive victory just 24 hours later.
Perry made the most of his UFC debut, upsetting Hyun Gyu Lim by TKO in under four minutes at UFC 202 on Saturday. Facing a welterweight in a light heavyweight's body on just two weeks' notice, Perry overcame Lim's height and reach advantage, dropping him three times over the course of their welterweight bout.

"Platinum" landed some heavy leg kicks early, after which he repeatedly closed the distance to nail Lim with punches. Perry followed a knockdown with some ground-and-pound, but the Korean withstood the onslaught to make it back to his feet. He would not survive the third knockdown.
Perry remains undefeated and has yet to leave a fight in the judges' hands. The loss is Lim's second straight.
