Omar Holness is heading to Rio Tinto Stadium.
On Thursday, Real Salt Lake selected Holness with the fifth overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, an acquisition that will provide the club with an extra eye for goal.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Holness' addition to the 2016 Generation Adidas class came as a surprise to many. However, he already holds international experience having been called up to Jamaica's national team for last year's Gold Cup, and he drew praise from MLS club staff at the 2016 Adidas MLS Player Combine.
