Klopp invites Gerrard to train with Liverpool, but 'nothing else'
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed Wednesday he's contacted former captain and current LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard over a possible return to the Merseyside club, but they only discussed a possible training stint before the start of the next MLS season.
It was first reported Tuesday that Klopp had reached out to Gerrard, who recently finished his first MLS season.

Klopp: "He is a legend. If he's in Liverpool and wants to train ahead of next season in LA that's absolutely no problem. Nothing else."

Gerrard was reportedly set to travel to London ahead of a meeting with Klopp, and could even attend Anfield for Sunday's match against Crystal Palace.
