Welcome, belatedly, to Major League Soccer, Frank Lampard.
It took the veteran midfielder plenty of time just to get on the field with his new team, but the Englishman, now healthy, is making an impact as New York City tries to keep its increasingly slim playoff hopes alive.
Lampard scored his first goal for the club Wednesday in a matchup against Toronto FC, finishing off a move that started with fellow Designated Player Andrea Pirlo lofting a trademark pass into the penalty area.
Welcome Frank Lampard. #NYCvTOR
