MLS players show off Fyre Festival-like meals at Disney resort
Major League Soccer's trip to Florida isn't off to a great start, as players appear to be on a meal plan inspired by the notorious Fyre Festival.
As teams congregate at the the Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort to prepare for the MLS is Back Tournament next month, a pair of players from Toronto FC posted photos of the saddest little lunches.

That's just one of the meals designed for a professional athlete, as Toronto FC's Eriq Zavaleta opted for the equally insipid-looking ham sandwich combo:

TFC goalkeeper Alexander Bono reacted to Gonzalez's picture and the astronomical prices Disney is charging, saying: "Nothing like a $65 sandwich to get the recovery going!! Can’t wait..."
Luckily, players aren't expected to foot the bill for these "meals."
The unsavory images have drawn comparisons to the Fyre Festival, a fraudulent luxury musical festival in 2017 that was canceled after thousands flocked to the Bahamas and were treated to the most basic of meals:
